Gulfaks field demo project

Glufaks is an oil & gas field in Norwegian part of the Noth Sea shelf. It is in operation by Statoil since 1986. The Gullfaks field is a classic North Sea oil field with rotated fault blocks trending in a North-South direction. It is located in block 34/10, 175km NW of the city of Bergen in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea and covers an area of 47 km²

The geological data set of the field was released to the public as a demo of Schlumberger Petrel software. The structural model provided in the demo was used here as an example of fault system visualization. In addition to the model dummy fault property was added to present property visualisation.
