Project title:
Parametric model of Jurassic layers in Gorzów Wielkopolski area
Project type:
National
Start year:
2019
End year:
2023

The parametric 3D geological model exemplifies a Jurassic layers in the western part of Poland, offering a generalized representation of lithologies and continuous properties related to porosity and rock density. These properties have been derived from the interpretation of data obtained through numerous seismic surveys and well drilling activities conducted in the region for oil and gas exploration, primarily within the underlying Upper Permian deposits. The geological layers are categorized into Lower, Middle, and Upper Jurassic based on the structural framework model. The continuous properties, including magnitudes of porosity and density across various lithologies within the area, can be interactively accessed with the mouse cursor. When clicking on specific features, the properties will be displayed in the lower left corner of the interface. Presented information can be invaluable for resource screening, such as geoenergy exploration, as well as for supporting further exploratory and scientific projects.
